Jill Jefferson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner whose work sits at the intersection of nursing, behavioral health, and whole-person wellness. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing in the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner track at Simmons University, followed by advanced psychiatric clinical training at Dartmouth Hitchcock, where she cared for patients across a wide variety of ages, diagnoses, and treatment settings.
Before advancing to the nurse practitioner role, Jill practiced for over ten years as a registered nurse, most of that time in procedural and perioperative units. That background gives her a practical understanding of how physical illness, procedures, and recovery affect a person’s emotional health, which is especially relevant for patients living with persistent pain.
Jill’s approach to psychiatric care is collaborative and centered on the individual. Beyond her clinical credentials, she is trained in integrative nurse coaching and holistic nursing and has worked with patients on wellness and lifestyle change. At Pain Solutions she partners with patients and the rest of the care team to build treatment plans that address mental health alongside physical well-being.
