Pain Management Physician & Anesthesiologist

Praveen “PK” Suchdev, MD, DABA, ABIPP, is an integral part of the team of pain management physicians at Pain Solutions, with locations in Nashua and Concord, New Hampshire.

Dr. Suchdev started on the path to medicine at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. Following his graduation, he completed his internal medicine internship at Northwestern University. He then completed his residency training in anesthesiology with a focus on pain management at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

Following his residency and military service, Dr. Suchdev completed a pain management fellowship at the Harvard Medical School, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. While serving in the Air Force, he held the position of Director of the Chronic Pain Management Program at Wilford Hall Medical Center, the largest military pain referral center within the Uniformed Services. It was there that he was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for his work in patient care protocols, which set new standards for efficiency and quality of care for Pain Management services in the military setting.

In 1999, Dr. Suchdev was recruited to the Southern New Hampshire region in anticipation of developing a comprehensive pain management program.

In 2001, he established the first Pain Solutions clinic in the Nashua area. Dr.

Suchdev’s vision was to create a network of integrated pain management clinics throughout New Hampshire, incorporating evidence-based treatment algorithms and providing high-quality, cost-effective treatment for patients in pain.

Dr. Suchdev is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in both anesthesiology and pain management. He has served on various committees and boards on the national, state, and community level. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of SolutionHealth, the integrated health system comprised of Southern New Hampshire Health and the Elliot Health System. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and numerous other professional organizations.

He has been named a New Hampshire Magazine “Top Doc” several times, most recently in 2020
